Meet, more than 3,000 virtual meetings since the launch of the service

The use of meet, the common service virtual meetings of the network SARA, is having a very rapid growth in public administrations which are in this service an opportunity for the use of ict saving displacement collaborative.

The ministry of finance and Public Administrations (MINHAP), through the directorate of Administrative Modernization, procedures and momentum of E-government, is responsible for the SARA Network as a tool to facilitate the effectiveness and efficiency of all the public authorities in delivering its services.

Through A common communications Infrastructure provides common services and the proper use of public resources which results in an instrument for furthering the tasks of rationalization of infrastructure and maintaining continuity of service.

The Common Service virtual meetings for the public administrations “ Get ” encourages the use of collaborative ict with a view to capitalizing on team work, contribute to reducing spending in public administrations, avoiding displacement, and favours the decline in carbon footprint generated by the administrations.

At present is based on a tool of Webconference multipoint and collaborative tools such as: sharing and remote desktop applications, file sharing, sharing of slate, chat, etc.

The savings provided in 2012 and 2013 have exceeded €9.000.000. In 2014, it is a very significant increase in the use and therefore only for 2014 is estimated savings of €11.000.000

The evolution of Meet includes a platform of e-learning integrated videoconference, with a social networking platform of collaborative management professionals, partners and playback video files.
