Policy of electronic document management

A policy of electronic document management contains guidance or guidelines that defines an organization for the creation and management of genuine documents, reliable and available over time, according to the functions and activities specific to it. The policy was adopted at the highest level within the organization, and assigns responsibilities concerning coordination, implementation, monitoring and management of treatment program of documents through its life cycle.

The Technical Standard policy interoperability electronic document management (Opens in new window) , aims to establish guidelines for defining policies of electronic document management.

The Application guide of the Technical Standard policy interoperability electronic document management (Opens in new window) serves as a tool of support for the application and implementation of THER; its content includes both explicit citations to the text of the THER as explanations and complementary contents in it.

The Political model electronic document management (Opens in new window) aims to serve as a generic reference for the elaboration of a policy of electronic document management according to national Schema Interoperability, following the Technical Standard of interoperability and in its corresponding Application guide.
