Policy of electronic document management

A policy of electronic document management contains guidance or guidelines that defines an organization for the creation and management of genuine documents, reliable and available over time, according to the functions and activities specific to it. The policy was adopted at the highest level within the organization, and assigns responsibilities concerning coordination, implementation, monitoring and management of treatment program of documents through its life cycle.

The Technical Standard policy interoperability electronic document management (Opens in new window) , aims to establish guidelines for defining policies of electronic document management.

The Guía de aplicación de la Norma Técnica de Interoperabilidad de Política de gestión de documentos electrónicos (Opens in new window) serves as a tool of support for the application and implementation of THER; its content includes both explicit citations to the text of the THER as explanations and complementary contents in it.

The Political model electronic document management (Opens in new window) aims to serve as a generic reference for the elaboration of a policy of electronic document management according to national Schema Interoperability, following the Technical Standard of interoperability and in its corresponding Application guide.

The A model of management policy of electronic documents for local entities (Opens in new window) (PGD-eL) is the result of the work developed by organizations valencianas del college of Secretaries, supervisors and treasurer of the Local administration (COSITAL), association of Computer technicians of the Local administration (ATIAL) and group of archivists and technicians documentary management.

The B model of management policy of electronic documents for local entities (Opens in new window) (PGD-eL) produced by the SWG of policy of electronic document management type for local entities, created in the working group of document, file and Electronic File, sectoral Commission E-government.

Contienen ambos modelos orientativos de política de gestión documental local, A y B, cuadro de clasificación funcional e índice de series documentales que permitirán la gestión de los documentos electrónicos de los ayuntamientos, en el marco del Esquema Nacional de Interoperabilidad, (ENI). Interesa a las entidades locales, especialmente de aquéllas más pequeñas y con más dificultades para elaborar una política de gestión de documentos electrónicos.

A continuación se recogen algunos ejemplos de políticas de gestión de documentos electrónicos que se han elaborado y publicado desde diferentes ámbitos de las Administraciones Públicas.
