Proposal for a european framework for interoperability for smart cities and communities
. Although there has been set up a EIF
for electronic administration since 2010, this is the first time that the concepts and ideas developed there are adapted to the local context.
The framework was developed using and finding complementarities with previous initiatives and ongoing, as the non-aligned movement

The EIF4SCC aims to provide a generic framework of interoperability of all kinds and how it can contribute to the development of a (more) city/scp. This will pave the way for services for citizens and businesses to provide not only in one city, but also in all cities, regions and border controls.
