Meeting on re-use of public sector information.

The ministry of finance and public authorities and the Ministry of industry, energy and tourism, in its efforts to promote a culture of reuse of public sector information (Draft Contributes and datos.gob.es), held on 26 june in Madrid on annual gathering of Open Data initiatives in spain. This event is aimed at analysing the latest developments on the reuse of information, as well as the various challenges it faces.

The event, which will take place in the dag hammarskjöld SETSI (C/Captain Has 41), will provide a forum for discussion and dialogue open to all interested persons on the reuse of public sector information.

In this conference will address questions relating to the economic and social value of the opening of data, strategies Open Data, the new legal context of the opening of data and the opening of data in the context of open government.

The meeting, a day's duration will extend from 9:30 h to 18:00 h, and be organized at the following round tables:

* The economic and social value of the opening of data
* Strategies Open Data
* New legal context of the opening of data and examples of its implementation
* The opening of data in the context of Open Government
