The Junta de andalucia agreed a procedure for verification and certification of electronic signatures in the popular legislative initiatives.

Law 5/1988 of 17 october, from Popular Legislative Initiative and the city councils, as amended by act 8/2011, of 5 december, establishes that the popular initiative is exercised through the submission of bills endorsed by the signatures of at least 40,000 andalusian constituents, authenticated in the form in which determines the law itself, mentioning specifically the possibility to pick up the statements of support with electronic signature as the establishment of regulations.
