The award recognizes the quality of the project Alpedrete Digital City, with which the council has shown that, starting from scratch and in a few short years, a small village can achieve the highest levels of development in E-government.
The city of Alpedrete has been the winner of the award of excellence and quality of public services in local bodies at the community of Madrid, in the form of E-government.

The awards to the quality and excellence of the community of Madrid this year has taken place at headquarters of the Regional government. The prize to the city of Alpedrete has been transferred to the Mayor María Married by the secretary-General Of the vice-president, José de la Uz.
