Today has been published in the Official Journal of the European Union Implementation decision (HAT) 2018 / 2048 of the committee, 20 December 2018 on the harmonised applicable to the websites and applications for mobile devices drafted in support of the directive (HAT) 2016 / 2102 of the European Parliament and of the board.
Through this decision stipulates that the standard of application for the fulfilment of the Directive (HAT) 2016 / 2102 of the European Parliament and of the board of 26 October 2016, on the accessibility of websites and applications for mobile devices of the public sector agencies is the norm
This rule, aligned with the WCAG 2.1 contains in annex informative to the relationship between the contents of the norm and essential requirements of the directive.
In the context English, the past 20 September 2018 entered into force most provisions of the new Royal Decree 1112 / 2018, 7 September, on the web accessibility and applications for mobile devices in the public sector that incorporates the Spanish legal system the directive 2016 / 2102. In its Article 6 sets that "Is presumed that the content of websites and applications for mobile devices that meets harmonized rules or parts thereof whose references have been published in the" Official Journal of the European Union ’ complies with accessibility requirements laid down in Article 5 which are covered by these rules or parts thereof. ".
Therefore, from today 21 December 2018, the standard to abide by the Spanish public administrations on their websites is the AT 301 549 v2.1.2 (2018-08). In the case of mobile applications apply from 23 June 2021.
