The introduction of ict in electoral processes gives them the promptness and efficiency. However, given the importance of the democratic election dates, it is necessary that this is done with the relevant security safeguards, transparency and confidence. The proper exercise of their right to vote, is the essence of democracy, hence the need to be reluctance to ensure, so indubitada, cleaning up the process without compromising its obvious and enormous advantages. The Ministry of Interior as Department competent ratione materiae leads initiatives in this field. We must involve technical improvements and progress to ensure transparency, security, reliability and auditabilidad of all elements, processes and results and that any new developments in this Area is widely known by the citizens and public administrations.
