The objective of the information Society with these awards is to disseminate development projects of the information and communication technologies in public administrations applied in the services provided to citizens and internally to improve effectiveness.
Furthermore, recognize the essential work and well done by the sector's professionals with an incentive as public is the provision of Prizes. This recognition is due to great work, effort, dedication and professionalism of all employees in public and private, public institutions, industry associations and professionals who have fought the pandemic with initiatives, solutions, exemplary, solidarity, effectiveness and work.
The categories of the awards are:
- Award Efficient interoperability
- Award Digitization of services provided to citizens
- Award Open Government
- Award Security and protection of
- Award Change management in the AAPP
- Award Cooperation with the Ict Firms AAPP (award to the administration and the company)
- Award Path : that recognizes people (physical) was constantly and endeavours in icts. THERE IS NO CANDIDATURE but might be suggested names.
Nominations could be proactive (with project) or generic :
Given the shortage of time and resources of our days, the nominations for the awards may be in two ways: Draft Generic or (without project, subject to prior opinion can terner the jury of the record of each institution).
Of course, the most desirable and is strongly recommended to the submission of projects, and therefore provides an input of interesting information to the reader, and helpful input for the jury's decision.
However, the difficult current situation is not the best time to distract the elaboration of reports, except if Awards already has a basic work only order.
Thus, the candidates who wish to submit a project to these prizes do not need to make a long and detailed presentation. The Only desirable basic elements are:
- Description of the project,
- Impact on the citizen and administrations,
- Development team and suppliers,
- Economic valuation, and
- Time frame for compliance.
The extension is among stakeholders.
The nominations proactive could be made directly by the entity concerned, including a specific project or suggested by third parties to the Magazine of the Information Society Digital who so requests.

In the case of
suggestions of third parties
, who recommend that an appropriate institution or project as it deems worthy of examination must send email administracion@socinfodigital.es
a brief presentation (a few lines) of the merits of the recommended institution, and contact details of a person representing the same, to whom we call for more information.
In the case of the individuals themselves, to report to the email of the above-mentioned its intention to be submitted, and then to send the corresponding information in good time.
And projects are generic nominations valued by the jury freely (connection services offered/institution size, procedures, information, ease of use, novelty, empathy …). It is not used any based comparative statistical indicators, or similar. In short, it is not set any classification or management, but to acknowledge institutions as a prominent among equals.
The Starting jury awards it comprises all 20 recognized experts in the field of ict in the area of the public sector and also from the private sector. This ensures the selection of the best projects.

The deadline for nominations begins on 9 april and ends on 25 april-15: 00h. Once received nominations, shall be classified and sent to the jury to inform it of its vote before the 12:00h on wednesday, 1 may.
