In october 2021 marks the eighth edition of the Month of the European Cyber Security of the eu (ECSM), organized by the european commission (EC) and the european agency for Cybersecurity (ENISA), an initiative that promotes the safe online and sensitized on cybersecurity among eu citizens.
On 29 september, the institutions, bodies and agencies of the eu (EUIBA) will meet virtually to launch this important campaign prior to the official launch of the following day (# CyberSecMonth, @CyberSecMonth).
Some of the highlights of the programme are:
- the important role of women to strengthen the position of cybersecurity of our organizations and help bridge the current gap of skills in this field;
- submission of ECSM 2021 and activities planned by the main organizers (ENISA and EC);
- how common binding standards for security measures at all EUIBA the prepared to address the growing threats;
- some good practices which EUIBA has successfully implemented to strengthen their cybersecurity and resilience.
