The initiative includes an investment of €4.847.608,63, which will result in a 69 per cent the ministry of industry, energy and tourism, through the public entity Red.es Registrar, while the remaining 31% will be carried out by the provincial de Córdoba. This set of proceedings are to be co through European Regional development fund (ERDF).
"Municipalities Cordobeses" intelligent and sustainable has among its major objectives:
- to make available to the public information that your administration generates and encourage its reuse.
- promote a strategy at the provincial level of penetration of ict to improve the channels of citizen participation and alternative means of information.
- develop the concept of open government to citizenship. With the follow-up to basic services for cities and municipal management, integrated into existing systems the new platforms of open data and special systems of sensorización of water, waste and energy.
- all these new services, together with others already managed by the administration, for optimizing the costs they pose to the city, and in helping to decision making, which would result in improving the management of local services.
Its four main lines of action are: intelligent platform of city, new systems of sensorización & connectors with the platform (energy, waste and water and environment), web services platform Open Data and mobile application of open government.
Calls for "" smart cities of the Digital Agenda in Spain
The "I convening of Intelligent Cities" are benefiting, for its part, a total of 11 projects linked to 25 cities of more than 20,000 inhabitants, located in Andalusia, Castilla La Mancha and Extremadura. The selected initiatives currently under implementation, are an investment of $13.8 million euros.

These two calls for Intelligent Cities are part of the national Plan of Intelligent Cities of the Digital Agenda in Spain, which is equipped with a budget of $188 million euros.
