Last tuesday, 6 october, the European Data Portal (EPD) hosted its first webinar of the new series entitled “
The future of portals open database
”. This first webinar focused on the vision of EDP with professor Elena Simperl
, discussing issues such as:
- Activities of the EDP;
- Results of investigation conducted by Elena and his team at the university of Southampton on “ The sustainability of infrastructure data portals (open) ”
- The importance of taking a people-centred approach to the data a perspective of the user.
