16 august 2013

Following the fruitful collaboration between the eu member states, industry, national administrations, universities, the private sector and local communities on a number of projects aimed at facilitating the daily life, work, travel, studies and trade across borders, the european commission is going to invest eur 13.7 million to further develop cross-border digital public services.

The new project e-SENS (Electronic Simple European Networked Services) will contribute to the development of digital public services that will enable companies conducting business in their own member state and in other eu countries, in particular the development of enterprises, compliance with legal requirements and participation in public tenders. In addition, it will establish connections between national digital services for citizens who visit different member states to spend the holidays or for work or study.
