IODC: Overall objectives, local impact

IODC is imperative for the international community to discuss and explore the future of the Open Data.

IODC aims to build bridges across of open access initiatives of governments and establish a dialogue that includes the voices of:

  • Legislators and holders of public Sector information (ISP)
  • Private companies, startups and freelances
  • Activists and Ngos
  • Journalists from data
  • Representatives of civil society organizations across the globe

Before the official opening of the 4th international conference on Open Data, in Madrid will be carried out a large number of pre-conference-3, 4 and 5 october, by associations of open data of the government and civil society.

The programme of the event would take place within the three main objectives of the conference:

  • Collect the most innovative solutions and practices of Open Data.
  • Identify and explore both opportunities and new debates that are shaping the agenda of the Open Data.
  • Strengthening international cooperation open database.
