The European Commission announced the prizes e-Inclusion 2012

It may submit awards 2012 e-Inclusion. This year the prizes are aimed at persons and organizations, businesses and sectors of civil society, working locally, rewarding those who defend the way forward and exploiting the potential of technology to meet the current challenges.

The european commission has opened the deadline for receipt of nominations of prizes e-Inclusion 2012. These awards are seeking to identify and hold the most innovative ways to bridge the digital divide and to assist people to enjoy the benefits of The Internet. According to the results of a survey published by the commission, almost a quarter of europeans over 16 years of age have never used the Internet. In 2010, the commission held a conference dedicated to digital inclusion.
