The data exchange between public administrations.

04 march 2013

An example of reducing administrative burdens which brings great benefits to citizens and authorities.

Since 1992, the law 30/92 of the legal regime for public administration and the Common Administrative Procedure (LRJPAC), as provided for in its article 35.f, the right of citizens not to present to the administrative procedures, documents that are already held power of the officiating Administration. This right is enshrined in article 6.2.b of law 11/2007 of Electronic Access to public services.

Thanks to the verification services data and consultation of the beijing platform for Brokering Activities, facilitates to the public authorities to fulfil its obligation not to ask people documents within the disposition of the administration (whatever That, AGE, EELL REGIONAL GOVERNMENTS, ). These documents are replaced by a query on-line to the beijing platform for Brokering.

This model greatly simplifies the efforts of citizens by public administrations, given that it minimizes the additional documentation for the citizen to submit to the management of a formality. But it is a great cost savings for several ways: it is not necessary to give the initial official certificate, there is no need for a photocopy of such a certificate, nor a collation and also ensures the quality of data by avoiding counterfeiting and fraud.
