The Government of asturias gives the green light to the 'strategy of transparency, open government and electronic administration'.

The government of the principality has given the green light this tuesday to the implementation of the 'strategy of transparency, open government and electronic administration' that the executive of asturias will boost with the aim of strengthening control "citizens aware of the autonomous institutions asturianas, improve their quality of democracy and public service and strengthen the mechanisms of accountability by public officials to society".

This strategy is part of the commitment made by the president of asturias, socialist Javier Fernández, and by the chief executive of presidency, Guillermo Martínez, to devise "a model of home rule authority solvent, transparent and accountable", which will have its articulation in the future act of transparency and good governance of the principality of Asturias.

The Government of the principality will use its experience in electronic administration and the strategy will be addressed from a dual perspective: on the one hand, by providing free, open and free to data and public information and, on the other, to promote the necessary channels to the direct involvement of the asturian specialties and a lot.
