The Cessation proposes a new strategy for the development of services in the cloud.

The european economic and Social committee (CESSATION) has published an opinion which proposes an alternative to the programme for "unleashing the potential of the cloud computing in europe" submitted by the european commission. Instead, the eesc proposes a strategy with three pillars, namely to extend the use of the cloud, software development based on cloud, and build the cloud computing in europe.

In a recently adopted, the european economic and Social committee (CESSATION) emphasized that, although the eu intends to appropriately aimed at promoting the use of the cloud computing, the eu also continues to encourage the development of services in the cloud, and the urgency of the european infrastructure cloud computing. The opinion evaluates the european commission's communication on "Unleashing the potential of the cloud computing in europe" submitted in september 2012, and proposes a strategy of three pillars, namely to extend the use of the cloud-based software developed in the cloud, and build the cloud computing in europe.
