Adopted the strategic lines of the plan of E-government 2013-2015 government

The minister of finance and Public Administrations, Christopher Montoro, has chaired the high council of E-government, which have adopted the guidelines on the E-government plan of the government to 2013-2015 and has been endorsed at the heart of E-government of the Digital Agenda in Spain.

Both documents provide a road map to modernize the administration, reducing the public deficit and streamline the public sector through the momentum of E-government this parliamentary term.

In 2012, there were over 500 million arrangements with the General state administration, of which approximately 365 million were recorded by electronic means, according to data from Administrative information system. This means that 73 per cent of the proceedings, i.e., three out of four procedures of citizens and companies with the General state administration, through the telematics, reflecting savings of $28.5 million euros.
