9Th edition of the event Brings

The 9th edition of the event Brings will take place on 18 december in Madrid and will focus on data.

The data of high public value - and also privados- represent an extraordinary source of information for consideration because of their great impact on citizenship. When we talk about high-value data we refer to those limited by the Directive (EU) 2019/1024 of 20 june 2019 (Opens in new window) concerning the geospatial Areas, environmental statistics, weather, companies and mobility. Such data is a key element in revitalising innovative services and generate environmental and socio-economic benefits for the entire population.

The relevance and interest of the community for the high-value data has been considered the main thrust of the new edition of the meeting. Under the slogan “ fostering high-value data ” will address the challenges and opportunities that we will need to be addressed to all the value of this type of data.

The day will be structured into 3 round colloquium, each focusing on various actors linked to the ecosystem of data: publishing partners of high-value data, aceleradoras who seek to promote reuse, and companies that generate services and products of high value on the basis of their reuse:

The event will end with the delivery of awards Challenge Brings 2019 (Opens in new window) the contest of ideas and prototypes of the initiative Provides, that this year was focused on projects to improve the efficiency of the agri-food sector, forestry, and in rural areas.
