The OECD Digital Government Index analyzes the transition from e-government to digital government. Understood as the transition from digitalization of administrative procedures in an online administration, to completely digital public services, designed thinking in user, simpler, more accesible and proactive. Services that really meet citizens’ needs.
In the first edition of the index, in 2019, Spain has obtained the seventh position in the global ranking, standing out its fourth position in three of the six analyzed dimensions: digital by design, data driven and proactiveness.
