The eGovernment Benchmark 2025 published by the European Commission once again recognises Spain's good performance in digital public services.
Spain achieves a score of 88.75 (compared to the European average of 82.32) in digital services for citizens and the use of digital channels to interact with the Administration has become widespread among the population. This result consolidates a trajectory of more than two decades of public digitalization.
In the concept of digital public services for companies, Spain obtains a score of 85.11, slightly below the European average (86.23).

In the rest of the indicators, Spain is above the EU average in Pre-filled forms (82 points compared to 71) and Transparency (79 compared to 69); in the average in User Support (89 vs. 89), and below in Mobile Friendliness (93 points vs. 96).
Among the indicators of the Single Digital Gateway Regulation, Spain stands out in Cross-border ePayments, where it obtains a score of 100 (compared to 81 for EU countries). Among the additional indicators, Spain is close to the EU average: 41 compared to 42 in cybersecurity services, and 42% compared to 43% of services meet the accessibility criteria.
