On 21 december 2018 the european commission published the
Implementation decision (EU) 2018/2048 of 20 december 2018, on the harmonized rule applicable to the websites and applications for mobile devices
in support of the Directive (EU) 2016/2102
the european parliament and the council. This decision applies to the spanish context through RD 1112/2018
.
With the publication of this decision provides that the standard for compliance with the requirements is the norm
in its spanish version is embodied in the rule UNE-EN 301-549:2019, requiring the accessibility of ICT products and services
. That is why, consider it necessary to facilitate their access free of charge so that it can be accessed by all spanish public administrations.
This is possible thanks to an agreement between the state secretariat for Public Service (SEFP) and
AENOR

With the publication of this rule is intended help both developers and evaluators mobile applications and web pages in the field of accessibility as to the individuals responsible for conducting evaluations of accessibility, normally auditors or consultants to ensure compliance with accessibility requirements.
