Objectives

The Plan of digitizing the Public Authorities seek to achieve the following objectives:

1. Digital services, accessible, efficient, safe and reliable: Develop digital public services more inclusive, efficient, personalized, proactive and quality for all the people.

2. Public policies based on data and modernizing the management of data:   Transform the spanish government Administration in a more modern and “ guided by data ”, where information of individuals, citizens and public administrations is used efficiently for designing public policies in line with the social, economic and territorial integrity of spain, as well as for the construction of a citizen of the truly innovative public services.

3. Democratizing access to the emerging technologies: Able to develop services, assets and common infrastructure to enable all public administrations to join the technological revolution which is the emergence of new technological enabling assets such as Artificial intelligence or analytical technology.

Guiding principles

The Plan of digitizing the Public Administrations will be guided by a set of principles for action both in its conception phase and the subsequent development-oriented, maximize efficiency, the reuse of tools already available and collaboration between various departments and Administrations in order to achieve specific objectives in the short term, by concentrating efforts on a set of priority projects:

• Centralised responsibility,
• collaborative implementation,
• re-use,
• sustainability,
• orientation towards results and
• overview and sectoral levels.
