European report on e-government 2023

According to the eGovernment Benchmark 2023 published by the european commission, spain is located in the level of maturity of medio-alto digital government with 79 per cent, over and above the european average (70 per cent), to occupy the post 12 of the 35 countries.

Among the indicators measuring the performance of the policies of E-government spain stands out, especially in User (98 points, as compared to 90 of the eu average), which measures if a service is offered online (95 compared with 88), if there are features of support and assistance (98 compared to 92) and whether it was adapted for mobile device (90 to 93).

In the rest of indicators, spain is located in all of them above the average for the countries of the Eu: Transparency (73 points, as compared to 62 of the eu), key Facilitators (81 to 71) and Cross-border services (67 compared to 57). Among other data, the report highlights that 96 per cent of the services are online, 67 per cent of government portals are if you have accessed the personal data, 84 per cent of the services they accept electronic identification, 73 per cent of the services are available from other countries and 83 per cent of the services have precompletada personal information.
