New awards from the european commission to those governments that their share and reuse of ict solutions.
The european public administrations have countless ICT solutions and services that could be reused for other public administrations. The reuse of software you have previously been successful will stop the continued reinventing the wheel and help to save on time and costs for users and administrations, just as mejorarará interoperability between systems.
To promote the visibility of these solutions and to encourage reuse, the european commission has decided to highlight the most used and successful within the public sector through new awards from sharing and Reuse (Sharing & Reuse Awards) of the european commission.
Conditions of competition
The winners will receive €10,000 and 15,000 €respectively by those services and solutions that meet the criteria of any of these four categories:
Cross-border administrations
National administrations
Regional administrations
Local administrations

and the prizes will be announced in march 2017.

, developed by the member states and the european institutions. "This prize will focus on the best solutions and project s" said ms. abecasis. "we hope that the award allows winning administrations to expand the achievements of its project".
Who can participate?
Only the solutions that have been developed by or for the public authorities may be qualified. If the solution has been developed by a private entity under the name of a public administration, the prize will go into public administration.
One of the requirements for inclusion is that the solution can be reused is discharged in the portal JOINUP.
All reusable solutions in the centre of transfer of technology are available in the portal JOINUP and meet this requirement already

The jury of the competition will include members of the european council, the european commission and the European parliament.
