SEMIC (9KM) is an initiative of the european commission aimed at promoting the semantic interoperability between systems interconnected. The Centre of Support SEMIC (9KM) marks the beginning of the road towards a european administration interoperable, in line with the law of Interoperability Union.
This year's theme "interoperable Europe: from vision to reality" is directly aligned with the objectives of the newly introduced Law of the europe Interoperable, in order to close the gap between the visionary goals of a european digital public sector perfectly connected and concrete actions and policies which are giving life to this vision.
The agenda of the conference is comprehensive and multifaceted, covering topics such as:
- effective deployment of interoperability solutions,
- expansion of interoperability and applications of IA across the eu,
- development of policies prepared for what digital
- improving interoperability within the areas of data and more...
Particular emphasis will be intergovernmental cooperation.
This will include discussions on how the eu can work together more effectively to achieve shared objectives on interoperability, promoting a collaborative environment that transcends national borders.
Based on the success of the workshops, prior to the conference last year, SEMIC (9KM) is happy to offer more committed one full day of technical workshops on 26 june, the day before the start of the main conference. This event as a prelude promises to enrich the experience of the conference with opportunities for learning by doing and an in-depth exploration of critical issues in the interoperability of the public sector.
