    The report IRIA presents an overview of the situation of the administration and use of digital systems and information and communication technologies in public administrations, local and is published every two years.

    The scope of the study consists of:

    • information regarding Diputaciones Provinciales and “ Juntas Forales ”, Cabildos and Island Councils and municipalities of more than 500 inhabitants.
    • 100% Of local entities from more than 30,000 inhabitants
    • A stratified random sampling, depending on the number of inhabitants and geographic area, of the municipalities of less than 30,000 inhabitants. Subsequently using a coefficient of elevation extend the data to the 100 per cent of municipalities.
    • The information corresponds to population of law and the source used is the National statistics institute.

    For the report extends the collection of data at different sources :

    • In each section of the report includes information of context with information collected from other official reports, as the national statistics institute, the beijing platform for recruitment, the observatory of accessibility, etc.
    • The data on budgets are obtained from data published on the site of the ministry of finance. While the personal data are extracted from the Statistical bulletin of staff in the service of the Public Administrations, Registro Central de Personal.
    • The bulk of information on the status of its digital administration is based on the completion of a questionnaire, developed with the tool EUSurvey (tool web surveys of the european commission, which reflect a number of questions that are the basis for calculating the indicators that will ultimately be published. For the report were invited to completing the questionnaire to 100 per cent of local entities from more than 30,000 inhabitants, the sample of local entities to less than 30,000 inhabitants and the Provincial and “ Juntas Forales ”, Cabildos and Consejos Insulares.
