  • The Plan of digitizing the Public Administrations, including in the Spain Digital Agenda 2025 (Opens in new window) , supone un salto decisivo en la mejora de la eficacia y eficiencia de la Administración Pública.

To that end, the Plan will be structured in three areas:

  • 1. Transformar digitalmente la Administración con iniciativas trasversales para el despliegue de servicios públicos eficientes, seguros y fáciles de utilizar y para la generalización del acceso a las tecnologías emergentes.
  • 2. Desplegar proyectos tractores de digitalización, por ejemplo, en los ámbitos de Sanidad, Justicia o Empleo. 
  • 3. To Support the digitization of territorial administrations, Autonomous communities and Local entities.

Key actions of the Plan of digitizing the Public Administrations

  • App Factory: Una iniciativa para potenciar el desarrollo de aplicaciones móviles de calidad con las que mejorar el acceso a los servicios públicos.

  • In one click administration: Facilitará a ciudadanos y empresas el acceso a la información y a los servicios públicos digitales de la Administración General del Estado. Una medida que evitará la dispersión de información y que reducirá barreras a la consulta de información y la utilización de los servicios.

  • GobTechLab: The initiative will launch a laboratory for innovation of the General state administration to improve the experience in the use of digital public services through citizen participation, the collaborative creation and innovation in public services. The main areas of implementation are emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, data and analytical blockchain.

  • NOTE Submitted on 23 july 2020 this Plan. This updated Agenda contains a set of measures, reform and investment, articulated 10 strategic axes, with the aim of encouraging digital processing of spain as one of the key levers for reinvigorating economic growth, the reduction of inequality, increasing the productivity and exploiting the opportunities offered by new technologies.

  • The Secretariat-General for administration Digital (SGAD) , will participate in this Plan through the implementation of a series of measures, essentially in the main thrust 5, on the digitization of the public authorities and under axis 4 on cybersecurity. It will also collaborate in the implementation of digitization processes in Strategic areas key to public welfare and productivity of the economy, such as health, justice, labour and social security.

On 15 february 2013, the government approved the Digital Agenda for spain in the aim of improving the productivity and competitiveness; and to transform and modernize the economy and spanish society through an intensive and effective use of ict by citizenship, companies and administrations.
