The spanish federation of municipalities and provinces (FEMP), with the collaboration of the centre National Cryptologic, announced the The book of recommendations: Itinerary of alignment with National insurance Scheme (NHIS) . It provides a description of the guidelines, requirements and steps to be followed, to define a road map for the adequacy of ENS, taking into account the definition and legal framework of the outline, the roles take according to the powers within the organization, the model to follow divided into several phases, tasks and actions, as well as different levels of measurement systems. It includes, in addition, the measures of protection that should be implemented in the facilities of the municipalities, the management of staff, equipment and communications, information media, computer applications, information and services provided.
The book, divided into two volumes (one of them especially addressed to the municipalities of less than 2,000 inhabitants) is the result of months of work of the committee on information society and the FEMP technologies which, together with other entities and practitioners, have sought to help local entities to interpret in a practical way the obligations arising from the NHIS. As noted in the submission of the guide, the president of the commission of inquiry, and mayor of almería, Ramón Fernández Pacheco “ I am sure that this document will enable each local Administration is able to develop their own itinerary towards achieving the goal: To fully implement the NHIS ”.
