New version of the diagnostic service available online through the community of Accessibility

This version comes with the option of analysis with regard to the new revised methodology of the observatory.

Since the year 2015 services Web accessibility observatory are available using a methodology 139803:2012 UNE . Based on accumulated experience of these years, the evolution of the portals and web technologies, and in the comments raised from the different user entities has been raised to rebuild this methodology.

The new methodology has been discussed and presented in the working group of accessibility of icts for the AGE and the working group of "Observatory, indicators and measures of the Commission" sectoral E-government (AGE, and REGIONAL GOVERNMENTS, EELL CRUE) and following its preliminary approval has been implemented in the Observatory. Starts now the verification stage and evidence which it invited all agencies of the Public Administrations to participate. Can refer all comments through the forum is available on the tab "collaboration community" accessibility. The formal adoption will be carried out in the Working groups of the colleges in the field.

In order to carry out these tests, the diagnostic service on line, available on the Accessibility community already offers the opportunity to apply for a new type of analysis with regard to the new methodology, UNE 139803:2012 called BETA.

Among the changes made in the new methodology included: the expansion of the sample size (from 17-33 pages), the refinement of the selection of pages, the elimination of the concept of level of analysis, the review of audits and regrouping of some of them and the increase of tests that take into account the implementation of WAI-ARIA.

The new version of the observatory also includes adjustments and resolution of problems in the current methodology is still current.
