    Los "Core Vocabularies" son el resultado del consenso de varios grupos de trabajo dentro de la iniciativa  SEMIC (Opens in new window) (Semantic interoperability Community) of the program ISA2 (Opens in new window) the European commission.

    These vocabularies are useful for:

    • Develop new information systems
    • To facilitate the exchange of information between existing systems
    • Integrate data from disparate sources
    • Publish data in a common format for export

    Vocabularies defined by SEMIC are:

    • Core BUSINESS Vocabulary (Opens in new window) as a model of data that describes a legal entity or juridical person
    • Core LOCATION Vocabulary (Opens in new window) como modelo de datos que describe una localización representada como una dirección, un lugar geográfico o una geometría
