The OCDE provides a forum for sharing and exchange of experiences of national governments around the world to find solutions to common problems and make recommendations in the areas of economic, social and environmental. In the area of Public Governance works since 2001 in public policies related to the modernization of the administration and management digital, designed to explore how governments can make better use of information technologies and communications (TICK) to integrate the principles of good governance countries.

  • Network on E-Government (Opens in new window) (E-Leaders): Grupo de la OCDE, que depende del Comité de Gobernanza Pública, formado por los CIOs (Chief Information Officer) o máximas autoridades en materia de Tecnologías de la Información para las Administración Públicas de los Estados Miembro. Su objetivo es intercambiar información entre los Estados Miembro sobre las estrategias y el estado de situación de la Administración Digital y el Gobierno Abierto en sus países, así como formular recomendaciones de alto nivel para la elaboración de Estrategias de Administración Digital. También se encarga de la aprobación de las evaluaciones en materia de Administración Digital y Gobierno Abierto que realiza la OCDE a los distintos países (peer-to-peer reviews). De él depende el subgrupo encargado de analizar indicadores de Administración Digital y el encargado de analizar indicadores de Gobierno Abierto en los Estados Miembro. En ellos también se preparan los documentos y estudios sobre la materia.
  • Working Party on Security and Privacy in the Digital Economy - WPSPDE  (Opens in new window) : The working group of Security and privacy in the Digital economy, formerly of information security and privacy protection (Working Party on Information Security and Privacy – WPISP), conducts studies and makes recommendations of high level for governments and other actors ensure that security and privacy protection supports the development of the Internet economy as well as economic and social prosperity. Identifies trends, serves to exchange experiences and analyzes the impact of technology in the development of policies relating to security and privacy protection (protection of personal data, electronic identification and authentication, cryptography, information security, cyber security).
  • Task Force Observatory of innovation in the public Sector : The Observatory of innovation in the public Sector is the result of a Task Force dependent on Public governance committee, which aims to collect all innovative initiatives designed to provide solutions for public managers seeking ideas to reduce spending in the provision of a service, to improve a service without increasing the cost or to launch a new product that in another country already exists. Is housed in an international forum for exchange of innovative practices.
