The OCDE provides a forum for sharing and exchange of experiences of national governments around the world to find solutions to common problems and make recommendations in the areas of economic, social and environmental. In the area of Public Governance works since 2001 in public policies related to the modernization of the administration and management digital, designed to explore how governments can make better use of information technologies and communications (TICK) to integrate the principles of good governance countries.
- Network on E-Government (E-Leaders): OCDE Group, which depends on the Public Governance committee, formed by the Services (Chief Information Officer) or top leadership in the field of information technology for the Public Administration of member states. Its objective is to exchange information between member states on strategies and the status of Digital administration and open government in their countries, and make recommendations of high level for the development of Digital Administration strategies. It is also responsible for the adoption of evaluations in Digital administration and open government performing the OCDE to different countries (peer-to-peer reviews). It depends on the subgroup to analyse indicators of Administration and the Digital to analyse indicators of Open Government in member states. They also prepare papers and studies on the subject.
- Working Party on Security and Privacy in the Digital Economy - WPSPDE : The working group of Security and privacy in the Digital economy, formerly of information security and privacy protection (Working Party on Information Security and Privacy – WPISP), conducts studies and makes recommendations of high level for governments and other actors ensure that security and privacy protection supports the development of the Internet economy as well as economic and social prosperity. Identifies trends, serves to exchange experiences and analyzes the impact of technology in the development of policies relating to security and privacy protection (protection of personal data, electronic identification and authentication, cryptography, information security, cyber security).
- Task Force observatory of public Sector Innovation : The Observatory of innovation in the public Sector is the result of a Task Force dependent on Public Governance committee, which aims to collect all innovative initiatives designed to provide solutions for public managers seeking ideas to reduce spending in the provision of a service, to improve a service without increasing the cost or to launch a new product that in another country already exists. Is housed in an international forum for exchange of innovative practices.
