RUN is an easy solution to generate short URLs for improved efficiency in sending web addresses by e-mail, SMS, Twitter or other electronic means. It helps government axencies to create URLs that are easy to remember, e.g. http://run.gob.es/xxxxx, avoiding long and cumbersome names.

RUN has two sections, a public section where anyone who knows a short URL can access the address http://run.gob .es and automatically, RUN redirects to the associated long URL. On the other hand, there is a management backend where users, through the use of the dixital certificate, access the URLs of their group, where they can edit the descriptions, short and long addresses, and also make comparisons of clicks between the URLs of your group.
