The Regional Forum for europe “ europe accessible: ict for all ” is scheduled to be held in Madrid, spain, on 13 and 14 december 2023.
The forum is organized by the international telecommunication union (ITU) and the european commission (EC) and is co-sponsored by the resource centre Accessible Us. Organized by the Fundación ONCE, with the support of the government of Spain and carried out as part of the spanish presidency of the council of the european Union.
Each year, Europe Accessible serves as a valuable platform for knowledge and networking to commemorate the international day of persons with disabilities, which is celebrated annually on 3 december.
The Forum is organized in response to the Regional initiative of the
The edition 2023 forum, which will last for two days, will serve as a point of convergence and brings together policy makers, members of civil society representatives, academics and key players in the industry.

first day
it will focus on strengthening the knowledge on the theme for the accessibility of
The
second day
will begin with a session on the current state and good practices in web accessibility, followed by meetings on universal design, Artificial Intelligence (
The forum will provide a unique opportunity for all parties involved to strengthen the knowledge, to identify partnership opportunities , join forces, share good practices and establishment a solid foundation for future cooperation in the progress the digital accessibility . The exchange of ideas and points of view in the forum will be a step inspiring towards a digital future inclusive for all , align with the commitments of global and regional priorities.
Europe Accessible 2023 it is an inclusive platform welcoming a large range participants , including policy makers, academic representatives, members of civil society and the the general public , to participate in meaningful discussions the digital inclusion and accessibility .
