At a meeting held in a virtual and which has been chaired by the Director of cabinet of the presidency of the government, Iván Redondo, accompanied by Miguel Ángel Ballesteros, Director of the department of homeland security and President of the forum; the two vice-chairmen of the forum: the Director-General INCIBE and the deputy director CCN ; as well as the members appointed by the organisations that represent, has taken place the constitutive session of the national forum of cybersecurity.
The lines of work are focused on generating culture of cybersecurity, provide support to industry and r + D + i and an opportunity for training and talent on cybersecurity; all of them in line with the measures contained in the National Strategy of Cybersecurity 2019.
During the incorporation of the forum, Iván Redondo has emphasized the importance of this collaborative workspace público-privada, discussion forum that we want to transform "information into knowledge generating actions in r + D + i and skilled workers in this area". Also considers that this forum offers a great opportunity to improve security in our country, stressing the lessons that the members of the same holds true in this field to generate culture of cybersecurity.
Several key principles will be of action of this Forum: the unity of action, transparency and accessibility, adaptability and flexibility, open participation and commitment, as well as the shared responsibility and reciprocity. Principles be efficiently organized in a collaborative environment público-privada where share and generate knowledge on the opportunities and challenges for security in cyberspace under the umbrella of the national council of cybersecurity.
