Available technical specification for the implementation of european Legislation Identifier in spain

The ELI (European Legislation Identifier) is a european standard of identification and description of the regulations published in newspapers and the official databases, which aims to facilitate access to, exchange and interconnection of the legal information. The Sectoral Commission E-government has adopted a technical specification for the implementation of this identifier in Spain.

In the meeting on 13 march the sectoral Commission E-government adopted a Technical Specification for the implementation in spain of ELI (European Legislation Identifier). The ELI is the european standard of identification and description of the regulations published in newspapers and the official databases, which aims to facilitate access to, exchange and interconnection of the legal information.

The spec has worked and prepared in the framework of the working group of the Commission ELI sectoral involved the various regional governments, to obtain a consensus at the national level.

Published in the PTT, within the specific solution this Technical Specification for the implementation of european Legislation Identifier in spain (phase 1), which contains the common guidelines for application to the implementation of standards at state and autonomous governments.

This specification defines the policy to become ELI and template for the URI standards at state and autonomous governments, as well as a set of metadata common minimum to describe the legislation.
