The National accreditation entity (ENAC) has been responsible for giving to International AENOR this accreditation.
At the moment there are three other companies in the process of achieving this accreditation, although ENAC recalls that can apply all those entities that they wish and comply with the accreditation scheme developed by the ENAC itself, in close collaboration with the Ministry of Finance and Public Function (MINHAFP) and National PKIX centre (CCN).
The commission of accreditation of ENAC, at its meeting held on 21 April, decided to grant accreditation International AENOR S.A. as recognition of technical competence for certification in accordance with National security Scheme, ENS.
In this way, AENOR becomes the first entity that can certify the conformity of an organism with the ENS (although until November 2017 all those organizations that are in the process of obtaining accreditation are also valid to certify the above line).
A Line that, as reflected in the Royal Decree 3/2010, of January 8th and Technical safety instruction in accordance with the ENS is mandatory in information systems of category medium or high and voluntarily in the case of information systems of basic category.
