The DTIC offers this service for local entities to put in place transparency portal under the act on transparency, access to public information and good governance. Local entities that have not yet have transparency portal are availability this service can accede unless there is a time limit
The Directorate of information and communication technologies (DTIC) of the ministry of finance and Public Administrations, mindful of the needs that had to undertake local entities to comply with transparency law on access to public information and good governance, made available to all concerned the service of the Portal of transparency in the cloud for local entities.
The results achieved by the service has been excellent. Today, 1,300 local entities have applied for membership of the community of the Local “ transparency ” and had acceded to the service, materialized through the Partnership framework agreement signed by the secretariat of state of public administration and the spanish federation of municipalities and provinces (FEMP).

The service offered by the DTIC is based on the one hand, on the experience and resources acquired during the implementation of the portal of transparency in the General state administration and, secondly, the nature of that department, unit with competences to rationalize the use of information and communication technologies and services and common infrastructure. This attempt at a strategy of reuse of software and infrastructure already available has allowed significant savings in time and money, many local bodies.
The service offered by the DTIC facilitates fulfil, both with the obligations of active advertising, such as those relating to the right of access to public information, allowing thus manage the contents and process different applications of access were received.
Each local authority to accede to the service receives the physical infrastructure, communications and logic of its Portal of transparency, so Is completely free of charge. under his responsibility, the configuration of their appearance and of course the provision of content and the management of all requests for access.

Therefore, in some cases have chosen to build and operate their own portals, in others to use services offered by election or autonomous communities and in others to the option of this service offered by the DTIC.
