Available analyses of UNE 139803:2012 in the Observatory of Web Accessibility

Diagnostic service online already offers the possibility of conducting analysis with respect to the new methodology based on the UNE 139803:2012 and which has been provisionally approved for use by public administrations.

Within the initiative of the Observatory of Web Accessibility diagnostic service allows online, any department of public administrations, automatic analysis of accessibility conformant to the study of methodologies of web accessibility observatory. To the previously existing, based on the UNE 139803:2004 rule (similar to WCAG 1.0), joined- UNE 139803:2012 rule (Opens in new window) (equivalent to WCAG 2.0).

The new methodology has been discussed and presented in the working group of websites of the AGE and the working group of "Observatory, indicators and measures" sectoral committee E-government (AGE, REGIONAL GOVERNMENTS, EELL). With the launch of analyses consistent with UNE 139803:2012 starts now the verification phase and proof of this new methodology to which all are invited agencies of public administrations. Can refer all comments through forums available in the community accessibility.

This methodology will be adopted as final once it is done the first iteration of test of observatory and verify their validity end on multiple portals active.

The diagnostic service on line is available through the Accessibility community as a meeting point for the managers of web portals of public administrations of any administrative field (AGE, REGIONAL GOVERNMENTS, EELL, universities, other State bodies, etc.). It can share information and experiences and to resolve doubts. Any manager of public administrations may request form part of this community and make use of the services offered.
