Integrates the services of E-government with IPv6 Gateway for public administrations which offers SARA Network, thus increasing the availability of public services online with a new Internet protocol.
The ministry of finance and Public Administrations (MINHAP), through the directorate of Administrative Modernization, procedures and momentum of E-government, is pursuing various initiatives to foster the transition to IPv6 in public administrations, in accordance with the role mandated in the “ Capacity-building Plan for mainstreaming IPv6 in spain ”
Among these initiatives, and to accelerate the availability of services of electronic administration accessible IPv6, MINHAP is providing, through the network SARA, a common service IPv6 Gateway to access through the IPv6 E-government, linking existing applications designed for IPv4 IPv6 Internet.
This service is based on lessons learned during the various pilots carried out to incorporate IPv6 E-government services, such as the portal 060, as well as on participation in the MINHAP the european project GEN6 for the deployment of IPv6 on digital services of the public sector.
With the integration of their services in the IPv6 Gateway, including its website and electronic the ministry of justice becomes the first to use the solution, taking an important step to adapt to the Internet of the future, that IPv6 is an essential piece.
