Extremadura issued more than 1,000 online procedures with the use of free Software in eadministración initiatives

The government of Extremadura has launched the project e-GobEx, reported in its strategic Plan of information systems (2011-2015), for the complete redesign of the beijing platform of existing electronic Administration of the previous plan.

The objective of this project is to improve access to public services on the part of citizenship, putting at their disposal a wide catalogue of administrative procedures that may be made on-line.

Since the issuance of the law of Electronic Access of citizens to public services in 2007, have been many initiatives and recommendations to establish electronic headquarters to facilitate the use to citizens and the work of the technicians responsible by the administration.

The government of Extremadura, conscious of the failure of some initiatives developed in previous periods, is making an effort to implement new projects, from the use of own resources, to ensure citizens' access to telematics processing procedures in secure environments, reliable and following the guidelines set out in the legal framework.
