The Guide emphasizes the duty of disclosure and that the consent of the user as core obligations.

 

The Spanish data protection agency (Opens in new window) presents a Guide on the use of cookies (Opens in new window) that has developed in collaboration with the Adigital Associations, self-restraint and IAB Uk & us & eu.

The Guide emphasizes the duty of disclosure and that the consent of the user as core obligations set out in the Law 34/2002 of 11 july, of the information society and electronic commerce (Opens in new window) , LSSI, article 22 (2).

The Guide provides companies with guidelines and practical guidance for those responsible for web pages that will facilitate the enforcement of legal obligations, without impeding the development of the digital economy can take the most appropriate solution to their interests and its business model.

Users must be able to decide whether or not to allow the installation of cookies on your terminals, knowing what data are collected, who will be dealing with and for which purposes are used and garantizandoles the right to privacy of your data.
