The draft bill Transparency includes contributions from the citizens.
Almost 80,000 citizens have been interested in the development of the standard and have been sent about 3,700 comments, which have resulted in significant changes with respect to the first published by the government.
The Government takes this reform in its programme of democratic regeneration, but stressed that it will have economic effects because it creates confidence and increases the responsibility of the public managers.
The council of ministers has received a report of the deputy prime minister and minister of the presidency on the draft law on Transparency, access to public information and good governance. Moreover, it had agreed to its transfer, to the drafting of the relevant reports, the Spanish data protection agency and the council of state, as a preliminary step to Cuts to its parliamentary procedure.
