The european commission, through the Executive Agency for innovation and networks (INEA), and according to the 2019-2020 Programme of work of THE FSB Telecom, has announced the deadlines for the second of four calls for financing of the year 2019. The total funding will be eur 24 million and will be apportioned between infrastructure services ABOUT digital (2 million), Cybersecurity (10 million), eHealth (5 million), eProcurement (3 million), European e-Justice (3 million) and the new European platform of Digital Skills and employment (1 million).
For all DSIs except the new european platform of Digital Skills and employment, provides cofinancing of 75 per cent of total costs, as was done for the first call for THE FSB Telecom 2019-2020. According to a report of the european commission Spain has engaged between 2014 and 2018 in 26 projects related to these five DSIs, through which it has obtained a financing of 5.5 million euros.
Furthermore, the european platform of Digital Skills and employment is one of the innovations of the agenda OF THE EFC Telecom 2019-2020 and upgrade the training of european citizens in digital skills basic and advanced features, because, according to estimates by the commission, 40% of european companies find it difficult to find professionals with digital skills required. This call is open only to national coalitions that are part of the Digital Coalition Digital Skills and employment.
In addition, it has announced the deadline for eArchiving, which belongs to the third summons, and will be extended from 5 march and on 14 may 2019. In this case, the invitation refers to the central platform of the contents of the EFC programme Telecom and be conducted by recruitment of the commission, and the member states may submit proposals for direct funding.
