The public Sector is one of the key drivers of the spanish economy, and special prominent promoter of technological measures through the obligation to use its citizens and businesses. This is stipulated in article 216 the

From a legal mandate, the SGAD develops, with the adoption of the directorate-General of the state patrimony, the system FACeB2B . This is a system that is to serve, functionality as stated in rule, single register of electronic invoices relating to the outsourcing in the public administration and distributor of the same for ensuring receipt by the contractor, and control and securing payment of the same.
To that end, the SGAD has made use of its experience in the development of the system FACe to implement FACeB2B. Both systems share a large number of features, but FACeB2B has been designed with a view to the specific characteristics of relationships in the private sector. This new system FACeB2B was put into production on 28 june.
The approach taken by the SGAD in implementing this new system has been with the implementation of the legal obligation to avoid being a competitor in the distribution of invoices, avoiding at all times to enter into competitive battle with the existing businesses already present in this niche business or those who choose to have presence in the same.
