The new version of the architecture of European interoperability reference (EIRA)

The programme ISA ² has released the new version of EIRA v3.0.0. Characterized by incorporating significant updates, this version can be considered the most advanced technology in the field of interoperability.

EIRA is a metamodel of content of architecture based on the European framework of interoperability and their four levels of interoperability: legal interoperability, interoperability organisational semantic interoperability and technical interoperability.

EIRA defines the building blocks salient architectural needed to build electronic administration systems interoperable and, in turn, provides a common terminology that can use people working for public administrations in various tasks of development of architecture and systems.

The new version of EIRA contains many improvements compared with the previous version 2.1.0, such as:

  • Revision of the building blocks of architecture taking into account the relevance of interoperability and relevance for public services integrated UE;

  • Alignment with the new European interoperability framework (point of view of the Metamodel of EIRA and point of view of the Key interoperability Keys);

  • Alignment with the general Rules of data protection of the HAT (GDPR), which presents the point of view of the privacy of interoperability;

  • Revision of the views and views of the EIRA;

  • Upgrade to ArchiMate ® 3.0.1
