The “ Taller de software libre: products and services to governments ” aims to provide participants with an overview, while, of synthetic status of the products and services of free software for public administrations, supported with references to specific experiences of the public sector and documentation for further work on the matter.

It addresses issues such as: perspective of management; policies and actions in the eu; state of maturity of the free software; open standards and formats of documents; posts customers and workstations in Linux; introduction of free software in large organizations; the distributions of free software and services; support and maintenance services and peripherals; training and professional certification in free software; licences and intellectual property.
