The published Report QUEEN 2019, which provides the analysis of the most significant indicators of the ict sector of the year 2018 in the General state administration

Is now available for consultation the report with the QUEEN 2019 indicators analysis of the most representative of the situation and use of information systems and technology and communications in the AGE, as well as ICT staff employed. Information has been updated to 31 may 2018, because the application of the QUEEN can only work with a ministerial structure and 6 june was issued on Royal Decree 355/2018, which they ministerial departments.

La Comisión de Estrategia TIC (creada por Real Decreto 806/2014, de 26 de septiembre) tiene entre sus funciones "actuar como Observatorio de la Administración Electrónica y Transformación Digital" y es el responsable de la elaboración de éste Informe. REINA se viene publicando con periodicidad anual desde 1988.

Like last year this edition of QUEEN 2019 does not include the report IRIA, since the study has been updated to include new trends in e-government, and is issued separately.

The report was carried out based on data provided by the organizations of the General state administration, autonomous bodies, entities and Common Services of Social security, state agencies, Business Or Public Entities and other public bodies, participants in the implementation Queen. It provides an analysis of different aspects related to ICT expenditures and investments, updated computer AGE, software used and staff for effective ICT skills.

Results, during the year 2018 in the General state administration, expenditures amounted to 1,415 ICT million, representing a decrease from 1.74 per cent compared with 1,440 2017. Is this way the downward trend in the previous year, ranking below the figure of 2013 that marks the lowest point of the past eight years.

The total volume of spending was $1.133 million euros a 4.23 per cent lower than last year 2017; costs in telecommunications were 282 million euros a 9.73 per cent by 2017.

A fact of interest is knowing how much of the total budget of the ministries had been allocated to ICT costs. The global indicator stands at 3.28 per cent, representing a decline of nearly six percentage decimal points with regard to the year 2017.

It should be noted, that personal "" decreases, the previous year, in virtually all ministries, with the exception of the ministry of Interior; reaching almost 233 million euros, unlike the provision of services that "" increases the game at 78 per cent of the Ministries, to 585 million euros. In 11 of the 13 ministries that is the game with more percentage within spending.

Budgetary effort that departments in computing costs is shown in the relationship between this expenditure and the amount of chapters 1, 2 and 6 of the general state budget. In this year 2018 the global indicator stands at 2.63 per cent markedly lower than the 3.12 per cent of 2017.
